Netflix Reveals A Sneak Peek Of Stranger Things Season 5
Stranger Things debuted on Netflix in 2016 and instantly became one of the streaming platform’s most popular and beloved shows. Its most recent fourth season generated 140 million views globally, along with many TikTok trends and unearthed 80’s bangers. With the long awaited fifth and final season of Stranger Things underway, fans are getting anxious. To relieve that anxiety Netflix released a sneak peek of season five as the Duffer Brothers are halfway to the finish line in filming its final season.
In the nearly two minute long clip, we see a nostalgic Millie Bobby Brown walk onto set. “I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old. Feels very weird,” she said, while her co-star Noah Schnapp adds, “It’s just so exciting. I think this is going to be the best season yet.” There are many other like-minded sentiments that followed in the clip, alluding that season 5 will be bigger and better than its preceding fourth season.
The surprise dop was followed by a cast update by production. Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux are joining the cast of Stranger Things season 5, as well as Linda Hamilton, though she has given no clues or context into who she will be portraying in the mystifying world of Hawkins, Indiana.
While there is no set premiere date, season 5 of Stranger Things is rumored to premiere sometime in 2025.
