Sasheer Zamata Teases Agatha All Along: “People Are Going To Get A Kick Out Of The Show”

Kathryn Hahn returns as Agatha Harkness in the teaser trailer for the WandaVision spin-off Agatha All Along — and this time she’s bringing along a whole new coven to the screen. Pop Culture Planet spoke with Sasheer Zamata during the press junket for Netflix’s Exploding Kittens as she teased the dark and magical adventure in store.

When asked about originating the role of sorceress Jennifer Kale in live-action, Zamata called it “amazing.” “It's actually funny. This year, I'm playing a lot of dark characters, playing the devil and a witch,” she laughed. “But it's very cool to be able to even be in the Marvel Universe. I've been dying to do that for so long.”

She continued: “People are going to get a kick out of the show. It's very horror leaning and I think people are going to like it.”

The two-episode premiere of Agatha All Along hits Disney+ on September 18. Meanwhile, Exploding Kittens is streaming now on Netflix. See more of our interview, below.
