Jesse Plemons Is Center Stage in Kinds of Kindness Trailer

Set to the amusing backdrop of “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)” by Eurythmics, the Kinds of Kindness trailer gives both an ambiguity but clarity as to what to expect form Yorgos Lanthimos’ newest project.

Fresh off the Cannes Film Festival premiere, Searchlight Pictures has released the trailer for the absurd dark comedy film. The anthology film features three unique stories that are held together by an insanely talented ensemble cast including Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, Hunter Schafer, Hong Chau, and Mamadou Athie.

Standout Jesse Plemons is featured heavily in the trailer in comparison to the rest of the cast. After winning best actor at the Cannes Film Festival for his roles in the film, he is sure to be a talking point and one to watch.

Though the trailer does not indicate the specific storylines that will be depicted in the anthology, it does allude to the tone and style in which this dark comedy will live in. It is undoubtedly a Yorgos Lanthimos film and will be a highly anticipated one coming off of his last project’s Poor Things success at the Oscars.

Kinds of Kindness hits theaters June 21.
