Heartstopper Season 3 Trailer Offers New Challenges and Growth
The Heartstopper gang returns for a highly anticipated third season! The trailer has dropped and fans are already picking up on Easter eggs, pivotal moments, and intriguing storylines as these teens face new challenges and growth.
Best known for its lightness and inclusive representation, it does feel as though the tone of Heartstopper is shifting a bit to tackle more serious and grown up topics. The trailer starts with Isaac (Tobie Donovan) speaks up about how turning 16 is when things really start to change and feel more confusing. Charlie (Joe Locke) is suffering from his eating disorder that starts to take control and Nick (Kit Connor) grapples with how to help him. Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao) attempt to take the next step in their relationship physically, but Elle is hesitant due to her sense of self. Much of the group is now forced to start seriously considering their futures, most notably where they will go to university. Tori (Jenny Walser) voices her concerns for Charlie’s health and Charlie tries to find the moment to express his love to Nick.
Season three of Heartstopper premieres October 3 on Netflix.
