Anna Kendrick Makes Directorial Debut With Woman Of The Hour Trailer

Based on a true story, Woman Of The Hour follows an aspiring actress Cheryl Bradshaw (Anna Kendrick) and serial killer Rodney Alcala (Daniel Zovatto) in 1970s Los Angeles. The stakes become lethal when their lives intersect on an episode of The Dating Game

The trailer shows the two on a date where Bradshaw talks about her next audition and Alcala creepily compliments her soul. As he continues to order another round of drinks, Bradshaw grows uneasy. When he asks for her to recite the number she gave him, Bradshaw freezes before walking away with Alcala following her from a distance.

Kendrick both stars in and makes her directorial debut with the film, while Autumn Best, Kelley Jakle, Nicolette Robinson, Tony Hale, Pete Holmes, and Kathryn Gallagher round out the cast.

Woman of the Hour premieres on October 18 on Netflix.
