Robert Pattinson Makes A Living From Dying In Mickey 17 Trailer

Bong Joon-Ho is back again with the long-awaited film Mickey 17, based on the 2022 novel by Edward Ashton.

Soundtracked by “Ain't That A Kick In The Head” by Dean Martin, the trailer depicts an unlucky Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) as he signs up to be an “expendable” so he can get off Earth. Much like all of us, he doesn’t read the fine print and is now signed up to die over and over again.

As the subject of testing the capabilities of humanity, he’s thrown into lava, falls through ice with monstrous creatures, gets his arm chopped off, and goes on more deadly missions. But there’s just one thing… every time Mickey dies, a duplicate is made that retains most of his memories.

Steven Yeun, Mark Ruffalo, Naomi Ackie, and Toni Collette round out the cast.

Mickey 17 premieres January 31, 2025 in theaters.
