Attention readers — another new series based on books is coming to Netflix!

The trailer for A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was just released and brings to life the mystery of an unsolved murder. High school senior Pip Fitz-Amobi digs into the past of a missing 17 year old who was murdered just five years before. While the rest of the town accepts their own version of the truth, Pip delves deeper to discover what really happened that night.

The series is based on the bestselling novel written by Holly Jackson and gained popularity on BookTok back in 2020. It stars Emma Myers, best known for her role in Netflix’s Wednesday as Enid Sinclair. She is joined by other cast members including Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, Henry Ashton, Mitu Panicucci, Orla Hill, Ephraim O.P. Sampson, Carla Woodcock, and Yasmin Al-Khudhairi.

The young adult mystery will have six episodes — and hopefully even more twists and turns for those who loved the book!

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder begins streaming on Netflix on August 1.
