Tom Hanks and Robin Wright Reunite For Life-Spanning Here Trailer

It’s been 30 years since Forrest Gump was released and a new film just reunited the cast in a whole new way.

The fantasy drama Here brings Tom Hanks and Robin Wright back together as they go through different stages of life. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the story shows generations of change without ever leaving the same room. That’s right… the camera never moves! Starting at the beginning of time, we see the development of human lives and every story that only those four walls have seen.

To create the film, AI was used to digitally de-age both Hanks and Wright in order to show the story’s progression throughout the years. This was a very interesting and interpretive choice that I am eager to see translate onto the big screen.

Hanks and Wright are joined by other cast members Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly and Michelle Dockery. Similar to Forrest Gump, we can expect this film to bring us feelings of joy, hope, love, and loss.

See Forrest and Jenny reconnect when Here hits theaters on November 15.
