Will they? Won’t they? In Nobody Wants This, Joanne (Kristen Bell) falls for an attractive rabbi named Noah (Adam Brody). But what’s between them is much more complicated. 

The trailer shows Joanne and her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) discussing Joanne’s past relationships during their podcast. When Joanne meets Noah at a party, there’s an undeniable chemistry between the two. 

Soundtracked by “Close To You” by Gracie Abrams, their developing relationship seems to crumble when Noah’s mother and Joanne’s sister insist she’s not right for him, even more so with their religious differences. Getting in their heads and seemingly being “friendzoned,” these two will have to figure out whether this newfound relationship is worth taking a chance on. 

The cast also includes Timothy Simons, Tovah Feldshuh, Sherry Cola, Shiloh Bearman, Paul Ben-Victor, Stephanie Faracy, Jackie Tohn, and Michael Hitchcock. 

Nobody Wants This premieres September 26 on Netflix.
