It’s a Regency holiday!

Bridgerton premiered one year ago today and, to celebrate the show’s anniversary, Netflix announced the premiere date for season 2 on Christmas morning. In a video, Bridgerton cast members received a brochure from the mysterious Lady Whistledown with a special message:

“Happy anniversary to our buzzy ton. It is customary for a first anniversary, to gift paper, dear readers. I do hope you find this one informative. Bridgerton returns March 25th.”

“I actually didn’t know that,” exclaimed Claudia Jessie, while Jonathan Bailey added cheekily, “She’s always got the goss, doesn’t she?”

“I’ll text my mom,” said Luke Newton, as all of us.

This new season will feature Anthony Bridgerton in his journey to find a wife and uphold the family name. Everything changes when sisters Kate and Edwina Sharma arrive from India. Anthony begins to court Edwina, but when Kate discovers his true intentions, she will do whatever she can to break them up. Meanwhile, the Featherington’s deal with a new heir to their estate and Penelope struggles to keep her big secret.

Brb, listening to the Grammy-nominated Unofficial Bridgerton Musical soundtrack (!!!) on repeat until Bridgerton season 2 hits Netflix on March 25.
