The secrets and monsters of Monarch await you.

At this year’s New York Comic Con, Apple TV+ and the creative team for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters presented the trailer for the highly anticipated series and provided a glimpse into the expansive new series, which is based on Legendary's Monsterverse.

After surviving Godzilla and knowing that the monsters of San Francisco are real, the trailer follows two siblings uncovering their family’s connection to the secretive organization Monarch. Desperate to find answers, they decode sensitive files and map out connections. Their search leads them to Army Officer Lee Shaw (Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell, playing the younger version of Shaw.) It explores his involvement with Monarch through his studies back in the 1950s and how things have changed since. The trailer shows them facing monsters they can’t possibly fathom, escaping death at every corner, shots of the various ferocious beasts, and the dreaded landscape of destruction these monsters caused.

Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski join the cast to discover the truth behind Monarch.

The 10 episode series will premiere its first two episodes globally on November 17, followed by a new episode every week until January 12 on Apple TV+.
