These Songs From XO, Kitty Season 2 Need To Be Added To Your Playlist!

XO, Kitty season two has been nothing short of love triangles, family reconnections, and, of course, drama. And it’s all soundtracked by some banger K-Pop and mainstream hits! Here’s a couple of our faves that you should add to your playlist! *Beware: spoilers ahead*

“I Do” | Episode 1

POV: The crush you’re trying to get over is suddenly your new roommate!

Yeah… safe to say it’s about to get messy. Kitty (Anna Cathcart) is super excited to put all her focus into finding more about her mom Eve and heads to her single dorm. Or what was supposed to be a single dorm. “I Do” by G(I)-DLE plays while Kitty is stunned to learn that Yuri (Gia Kim) is her new roommate alongside her girlfriend Juliana (Regan Aliyah).

“Next To Mexico (DCUP & La Felix Remix)” | Episode 2

Club girlies rise up!

The gang heads to a gay bar in Itaewon called Sugar Bear. Q (Anthony Keyvan) brings Dae (Minyeong Choi) so he can get over Kitty and flirt with some girls. However, Q spots his track nemesis Jin (Joshua Lee) dancing and quickly puts two and two together. The enemies-to-lovers trope is in full swing as the two dance the night away to “Next To Mexico (DCUP & La Felix Remix)” by La Felix and Good Night Keato.

“Fearless” | Episode 3

Sleuthing with your friends? “Fearless” by LE SSERAFIM will surely put you in the mood!

When Kitty needs to access the KISS time capsule from the year her mom attended, she recruits the help of both her new love interest Praveena (Sasha Bhasin) and Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee). While Praveena employs a distraction tactic, Min Ho helps Kitty find and reach the box she needs to further learn more about her mother’s time at KISS.

“Larabar” | Episode 4

Will they? Won’t they? Min Ho and Kitty are the epitome of almost-friends-maybe-couple!

Kitty is devastated that her secret letter to Yuri is exposed to the whole cabin, essentially ruining Yuri and Juliana’s relationship and the romance she was pursuing with Praveena. In the hot tub, “Larabar” by Wet plays when Min Ho spots Kitty sulking in her sadness and hops in to comfort her. It’s the perfect moody song for when life just seems a bit much.

“Face To Face” | Episode 5

Need an apology anthem? “Face To Face” by Kenzie will do the trick!

Between Kitty unsuccessfully getting through to her secret family and the release of MoonLeaks, Dae gets a call notifying him that his father had been in a car accident. Panicked, Dae rushes to find Min Ho and Kitty who drive him to the hospital. Dance Moms alum Kenzie’s tune plays at the very end during the credits and is the best song to wrap up all the emotions.

“I Like Me Better” | Episode 6

Just when a girl's life seems to be crumbling, a familiar face is just what she needs!

Fans may recognize Lauv’s “I Like Me Better” from the original To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series that started our obsession with Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky. Well, Peter (Noah Centineo) is back to help Kitty and reassure her that everything will be okay. The tune is an ode to the beloved character and just so stinking cute when Kitty runs into his arms!

“Drama” | Episode 7

“Drama” by Aespa completely encapsulates the ending to episode seven.

While Stella (Audrey Huynh) and Min Ho dance at the ball, she reveals the dirt she has on Min Ho’s dad in an attempt to make sure he helps her win the competition in her big revenge plot against his father. Oh, and to top it all off, Kitty’s inner monologue admits that she has fallen for Min Ho… “Drama” is right!

“Seven” | Episode 8

Seven days a week of Dae singing please!

The ultimate reality competition show is here and, with Stella’s plans to sabotage all the acts tonight, everyone must band together to help Dae perform “Seven” by Jungkook and Latto so he can win the money for his dad’s medical bills. With Principal Lee shredding on the guitar and his friends as backup dancers, the performance was a slay!
