There’s Nothing Like Your First Love In Forever Teaser
Sometimes your first love can be your forever love.
Reimagining Judy Blume's 1975 novel into a modern TV series, Forever follows two Black teens as they navigate their newfound relationship. The trailer shows Keisha (Lovie Simone) and Justin (Michael Cooper Jr.) meeting at a party when she questions him to see if he remembers her from their childhood. The two quickly bond over their athleticism with Keisha as a runner and Justin playing basketball. However, being each other's first love comes with a whole lot of awkwardness, especially in this transformative time in their life. Keisha feels as if she can’t afford to like anyone right now, while Justin insists they take the leap of faith to become something great together.
Karen Pittman, Wood Harris, Xosha Roquemore, Marvin Winans III, Niles Fitch, Barry Shabaka Henley, Ali Gallo, Adriyan Rae, Paigion Walker, Xavier Mills, and E’myri Crutchfield round out the cast.
Forever comes to Netflix later this year.
