Jason Momoa Battles Revenge and Fatherhood In Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Trailer

The highly anticipated trailer for DC’s Aquaman sequel has arrived with a twist — Aquaman is now an Aquafather!

The trailer for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom kicks off with a whirlpool of emotions as fans see Aquaman’s (Jason Momoa) child for the first time. But things quickly take a turn for the worse as Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is back stronger than ever. “I’m gonna kill Aquaman and everything he holds dear,” he says while welding the power of the mythic black trident.

In need of help, Aquaman seeks the help of his imprisoned brother and former enemy Orm (Patrick Wilson). Together the two must set aside their past in order to protect their kingdom, their family, and the world from total mayhem. The trailer will have fans questioning what comes next as we see a glimpse of Aquaman's house on land up in flames.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom follows a five year hiatus from the aquatic superhero, which generated over $1 billion at the global box office. Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, and Randall Park return to round out the cast.

Lucky for fans, the countdown has begun! Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to hit theaters on December 20.
