People Aren’t Who They Seem In Speak No Evil Trailer
See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil. Blumhouse is taking viewers on a trip to an idyllic vacation with new psychological thriller Speak No Evil.
Whilst on vacation, Louise (Mackenzie Davis), Ben Dalton (Scoot McNairy) and their 11-year-old daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler) meet new friends Paddy (James McAvoy), Clara (Aisling Franciosi), and their mute son Ant (Dan Hough) who invite them to their isolated countryside home. However, what they thought was going to be a lovely vacation turns into a sinister nightmare.
The trailer depicts Agnes’ growing concern about Ant, but Paddy dismisses it by stating Ant has a condition that makes it hard for him to communicate. As they gather for a meal, Agnes and Ant perform the “Cotton Eye Joe” dance, but Paddy becomes furious at Ant’s dance abilities, which alarm Louise and Ben. Before they pack up to leave, Ant opens his mouth to Ben to reveal his tongue has been cut off. It’s deeply unsettling and terrifying for the Daltons to witness Paddy’s true nature.
Speak No Evil premieres September 13 in theaters.
