Olivia Rodrigo To Release A Documentary About The Creation Of Her Hit Album Sour

Actress turned music superstar Olivia Rodrigo is releasing a documentary sharing the process behind her hit debut album SOUR. Titled driving home 2 u, the film will feature Rodrigo in the studio and showcase her songs with new arrangements.

Following the surprise success of her original song “All I Want” for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Rodrigo signed a deal with Interscope Records to create her first album. SOUR made history, becoming the best-selling debut album in history and delivering Top 5 hits including “drivers license,” “deja vu,” “good 4 u,” and “traitor.”

A documentary teaser aired on NBC during the Olympics, promising to give fans an inside look on how the album was made and the inspiration behind the hit songs. “Coming from this place of hurt and you manage to translate that into something that you’re proud of, there’s nothing better than that,” said Rodrigo in the teaser.

driving home 2 u debuts on Disney+ on March 25.
