Mission: Impossible Exhibit Celebrates Tom Cruise and Almost 30 Years Of Thrilling Stunts
Think you’ve seen it all from the Mission: Impossible franchise? Think again. A brand-new exhibition just opened at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens and Pop Culture Planet got the inside scoop.
Mission: Impossible — Story and Spectacle dives into the stunts, the stories, and the dedication of Tom Cruise and the crew behind one of the most thrilling franchises of all time. Every film gets a spotlight as they highlight the action sequences, behind-the-scenes content, and real production artifacts. They’ll even be adding a special unveiling of items from Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning as the exhibit continues.








“For almost 30 years, Mission: Impossible films have thrilled audiences with suspenseful stories and unparalleled practical stunts,” said Barbara Miller, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs, in a statement. “MoMI is excited to partner with Paramount Pictures on this major exhibition to explore the series’ unique achievements and create a fun, illuminating experience for fans and visitors.”
