Melissa Barrera Gets Unlikely Help Recovering From A Breakup in Your Monster Trailer

In the new film Your Monster, sometimes you just need the help of a big hairy man to move on. 

The trailer shows Laura Franco (Melissa Barrera) breaking down as she hugs a delivery driver after her longtime boyfriend (Edmund Donovan) has broken up with her. Filling her shattered heart with food and bed rotting, Laura comes face to face with a monster (Tommy Dewey) and belts out a frightening scream. 

When she learns that her ex is staging a musical she helped him develop, all of her emotions come rushing back. The monster reminds her that he broke up with her while she was recovering from an injury and jokingly offers to eat him. The two grow closer as he encourages Laura to follow her dreams, but Laura must figure out what she wants in this messy world. 

Kayla Foster, Meghann Fahy, Brandon Victor Dixon, Ike Ufomadu, and Lana Young round out this hilarious dark comedy. 

Your Monster hits theaters on October 25.
