Jessica Alba Is A Special Forces Commando In Trigger Warning Trailer
After five years away from the big screen, Jessica Alba is taking center stage in Netflix's new action film Trigger Warning.
Alba will appear as Special Forces commando Parker who is grappling with PTSD. Following her father's sudden death, she returns to her hometown and inherits the family bar. In her quest for clarity about her father's death, she reconnects with her old flame, now Sheriff Jesse (Mark Webber), his hot-headed brother Elvis (Jake Weary), and their crooked father, Senator Swann (Anthony Michael Hall). Subtle threats and warnings from the family soon reveal that her father's death was no accident, but an execution.
We get to see Alba in action as she uses her skills to teach a few thieves a lesson, but that's just a taste of what's coming. She must use all the tricks in her bag to uncover the truth about her father. Unsure of who to trust in the town, she enlists the help of her covert ops partner and hacker Spider (Tone Bell) and the connected local dealer Mike (Gabriel Basso). It's now her job to uncover the dangerous and corrupt underbelly of Swann County.
Trigger Warning will debut on Netflix on June 21.
