Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones Are In The Eye Of The Storm In New Twisters Trailer

We are drawing ever closer to the release of Universal Studios new chapter to the 1996 blockbuster Twister.

Directed by Oscar-nominated writer Lee Isaac, Twisters features stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos as they face tornadoes unlike any they have encountered before.

Kate Carter is a former storm chaser who abandoned the adrenaline-fueled life after a devastating tornado during her college years. Now, she monitors storm patterns from the safety of New York City. Despite leaving the chase behind, her friend Javi pulls her back into the storm's eye. There, she meets Tyler Owens, a daring social media sensation known for his storm-chasing exploits. Though their team-up is unconventional, it's precisely why it happens. Kate, with her expertise, believes she can disrupt a tornado but missed her chance last time. Tyler, driven by ambition and recklessness, offers her that chance with a simple question, "Want one?"

Together they find themselves in central Oklahoma, battling for their lives. The film also stars Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane, Harry Hadden-Patton, David Corenswet, Daryl McCormack, Tunde Adebimpe, Katy O’Brian, Nik Dodani, Kiernan Shipka, and Paul Scheer.

Twisters hits theaters on July 19th.
