Chris Pratt Voices The Lasagna-Loving Feline In The Garfield Movie Trailer

Chris Pratt is having a moment in animation this year — first Mario, now Garfield!

Sony officially released the trailer for their upcoming movie The Garfield Movie — fittingly on a Monday. The lasagna-obsessed, sarcastic orange feline is set to hit the big screen on March 24, 2024.

Audiences will get to see the origin story of how the iconic cat with an infinite appetite met his owner,Jon Arbuckle. The trailer also sets up the premise for the hijinx the beloved Garfield, voiced by Chris Pratt, will get into this time. Garfield and Odie, his loyal, yet silent canine companion, seemingly leave their pampered lives to engage in a high-stakes heist with Garfield’s long-lost father — who is voiced by none other than Samuel L. Jackson.

While we don’t know their particular roles just yet, this cast is star-studded, including the amazing Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Cecily Strong, and Harvey Guillén.

Other than that, as Garfield would fondly put it, I hate Mondays.
