First Look at Comedy Series Bad Monkey From Producer Behind Ted Lasso and Shrinking

Apple TV+ shared the first look at highly anticipated comedy Bad Monkey that comes from executive producer Bill Lawrence, best known for his work on Ted Lasso and Shrinking. The series stars Vince Vaughn, who also executive produced the series.

Bad Monkey follows Vaughn as Andrew Yancy, who was released from the Miami Police department and is now a health inspector in the Keys. When he discovers a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he could get his old job back. He just needs to surpass some Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.

The cast includes L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Special guest stars include John Ortiz. Zach Braff, and Charlotte Lawrence making her television debut.

Carl Hiaasen's New York Times bestselling novel serves as source material for Bad Monkey premiering on Apple TV+ on August 14.
