Finn Wolfhard Makes A Killer Directorial Debut In Hell Of A Summer Trailer

A bunch of teenagers in a secluded campsite for the summer… what could go wrong?

Finn Wolfhard makes his directorial debut in Hell Of A Summer. The Stranger Things star wrote and directed the summer slasher with Billy Bryk. The film follows 24-year-old camp counselor Jason (Fred Hechinger) who struggles to connect with his teenage co-workers at their summer camp job. To make matters even worse, there’s a masked killer stalking the campgrounds killing each counselor one by one.

The first look of the film promises to be a terrifying — yet hilarious — slasher, perfect for scary movie nights. With Wolfhard’s knack for spooky roles, comedy, and fighting bad guys, we at Pop Culture Planet are ecstatic to see him make his directing debut in a film that highlights his strengths. Wolfhard and Bryk also star in the film alongside Hechinger, Abby Quinn, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Pardis Saremi, Rosebud Bakeri, and Adam Pally.

Make sure to catch this killer film when it hits theaters on April 18.
