A Stark Family Reunion Costume Display Arrives At The Game Of Thrones Studio Tour

Winter is coming…

Game of Thrones fans rejoice because we’re headed down nostalgia lane. The official Game Of Thrones Studio Tour, located in Northern Ireland, is bringing in a new seasonal display celebrating Winterfell costumes featuring your favorite characters from the Stark family!

Called “Winter Is Coming: A Stark Family Reunion,” the exhibition is set in the courtyard of Winterfell when Eddard (Ned), Catelyn Stark, and their children met with King Robert Baratheon and his wife Cersei. The costumes that are featured include the ones from when viewers first met Arya, Bran, Rickon, Robb, and Sansa Stark in season one. Once winter actually hits this year, fans can expect to see a transformation to the display to include the first costume worn by Jon Snow as well.

Additionally, there are many Stark artifacts visitors can explore including the Winterfell Great Hall, Bran’s Chamber, Sansa’s coronation gown, and Bran’s wheelchair. Don’t worry — they’ll also be weapons on display including Arya’s Needle sword, Jon Snow’s Longclaw, and the Catspaw Dagger. “We are thrilled to be going back to Season 1 and Episode 1 of Game of Thrones for our next costume display,” said Sherryl Murphy, Marketing Manager at Game of Thrones Studio Tour. “It’s exciting for us because some of the costumes have been in storage for the 12 years since the filming of Episode 1.”

It was also announced that there will be Afternoon Tea themed for Halloween from October 17-31. The Studio Tour is located at Linen Mills Studios in Banbridge, just 30 minutes from Belfast and 90 minutes from Dublin.
