Max Debuts Terrifying Salem’s Lot Trailer

Max released a terrifying trailer of New Line Cinema’s adaptation of the acclaimed 1975 Stephen King novel Salem’s Lot. The original film reunites the horror dream team that gave the world the wildly successful The Conjuring franchise and IT films.

Top Gun: Maverick’s Lewis Pullman stars as author Ben Mears who moves back to his family home in Jerusalem’s Lot and hopes to find inspiration for his next book. The only problem? The small town has been invaded by a vicious vampire. Pullman is joined by a star studded cast that includes Alfre Woodard, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbaek, and John Benjamin Hickey.

The first look delivers chilling visuals of a town that’s being preyed on by a monstrous figure that goes nearly unseen until the final moments of the trailer. Now, audiences will be able to scream and stream from the comfort of their own home. The adaptation seems absolutely terrifying and will leave audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end — so maybe don’t with the lights off or while home alone.

Salem’s Lot will be available to stream on Max starting October 3.
