Selena Gomez and David Henrie Are Bringing Us A Russo Family Reunion In Upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place Sequel Series

Everything is exactly how it seems with this exciting news we just heard about a Wizards Of Waverly Place sequel!

The plot takes place after a mysterious incident at WizTech and introduces us to a non-magical adult Justin Russo (David Henrie) with his wife and two sons. When a powerful young wizard in training shows up at his door, he looks to the past to help save the future of the Wizard World.

Along with Henrie, Janice LeAnn Brown plays the young wizard Billie, while Alkaio Thiele takes on the role of his eldest son Roman and Mimi Gianopulos plays his wife Giada. The Russo’s Italian and Mexican descent played into the series, so if these new actor’s last names are any hint, perhaps they could be adding some Greek heritage to the story.

But wait! It’s been confirmed that Selena Gomez will guest star in the series, reprising her role as the beloved and sarcastic Alex Russo. Both Gomez and Henrie serve as executive producers on the series as well, alongside Gary Marsh, Andy Fickman, Jed Elinoff, and Scott Thomas. Elinoff and Thomas are also behind the popular That’s So Raven spinoff on Disney Channel titled Raven’s Home that just wrapped its sixth season.
