Travis Kelce Introduces Niecy Nash-Betts In Hell-ish New Grotesquerie Trailer
Travis Kelce is taking it off the field and onto the screen, introducing the official trailer for Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie series. It’s suspenseful, eerie, and bloody. As Niecy Nash-Betts says, “Something hellish is going on here.”
Gruesome crimes have awakened a community to its dark underbelly. Detective Lois Tryon is on the case and, the more she gets involved, the more she starts to feel the killer is mocking her. In the trailer, we see her life become consumed by the hunt for the murderer and her drinking raises questions about her ability. But it’s not just the case driving her over the edge. Her strained relationship with her daughter and her husband, who's in long-term care, weigh heavy on her outside of work. She’s not alone, though. Sister Megan, a nun and detective with her own demons, is right there with her.
Together, Lois and Sister Megan try to crack the case, but they find themselves trapped in an endless loop of unanswered questions. It's clear they’re struggling to understand the patterns of "The Cleaner." As Nash-Betts says: “You have to really hate people to do what was done here. It’s inhuman.”
The first two episodes of Grotesquerie air on September 25 at 10 pm EST on FX and hit Hulu the next day.
