Ella Purnell Explores A Post Apocalyptic Wasteland in Fallout Teaser Trailer
Calling all gamers as we get a first look at the new Fallout series!
The teaser for the live-action adaptation of the popular video game Fallout centers on a vault dweller leaving her comfortable life for the dangerous wasteland outside 200 years after the apocalypse.
As she enters the outside, Lucy (Ella Purnell) is told she should go back home and doesn’t have what it takes to survive there. She’s told she must adapt to the challenges in a comedic manner as a dog eats a mutated animal in front of her. As Nat King Cole’s “I Don’t Want To See Tomorrow” plays, the trailer shows shootouts, the Brotherhood of Steel, uprisings, and terrifying mutant creatures. It all ends with a massive explosion that’ll change everything.
The series trailer gives a glimpse of notable characters including Aaron Moten as Maximus, Kyle MacLachlan as Overseer Hank, and Walter Goggins as The Ghoul.
Additional cast includes Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Michael Emerson, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Leslie Uggams, Zach Cherry, Frances Turner, Dace Register, and Johnny Pemberton.
Fallout premieres April 12, 2024 on Prime Video.
