Would Brant Daugherty and Torrey DeVitto Guest Star On Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin?

Pretty Little Liars took the world by storm in 2010 when it debuted on ABC Family, now known as Freeform. The series ended after a whopping 7 seasons and even resulted in three spin-offs. Unfortunately between Ravenswood and The Perfectionists, it seemed each spin-off was doomed to be cancelled after one season… that is until Original Sin debuted this summer. The show saw huge success as it tapped into what people loved around the original series and explored classic slasher movie tropes and got picked up for a second season. While at Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas red carpet, I spoke with former Pretty Little Liars cast members Brant Daugherty and Torrey DeVitto about their interest in returning to the franchise in Original Sin.

“Oh my god, no, that’s the rudest thing anyone’s ever said to me. How dare you!” joked Daugherty when he learned it had been 12 years since the original series. “If they could find a way to put my head back on, I would be there in a heartbeat. Somehow I don’t think it’s gonna happen, but [the] doors always open.”

While his character Noel Kahn didn’t made it out of the series alive, secret twins have been a common theme throughout Pretty Little Liars as a franchise… could Noel have one? “You never know, we pitched that a few times,” Daugherty shared. “Noel and Joel!”

Meanwhile DeVitto was all about the idea of returning to the franchise on its new and more mature streamer. “Yeah, for sure, especially now that it’s on HBO! We could bring the real Melissa out on HBO, you know what I’m saying?” she said. “I’d be down for that for sure.”

There you have it — both Melissa Hastings and (a resurrected?) Noel Kahn are down to appear in Original Sin!

You can watch both Pretty Little Liars and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on HBO Max.
