Welcome To The Land Of Imaginaries In The Imaginary Trailer

From renowned animator Yoshiyuki Momrose comes The Imaginary. The new Netflix film brings us into the world of Amanda (Evie Kiszel) and her imaginary friend Rudger (Louie Rudge-Buchanan) as they set out on magical adventures.

In the trailer, Amanda spends her free time with her imaginary pal Rudger, eating cake together and exploring new worlds. When Rudger is on the roof of their house, he spots a glowing golden robot who asks if he can see him. It turns out he’s not the only imaginary friend around. Transported to the Town of The Imaginaries, Rudger is greeted by all of the imaginary creatures residing in the town.

However, all of the imaginaries have been forgotten about by their original creators. Rudger insists that Amanda will never forget about him, but a dark looming threat believes reality will eventually take over. From space travel to underwater exploration and creatures big and small, The Imaginary explores love, loss, and the healing power of imagination. 

Hayley Atwell, Sky Katz, Jeremy Swift, Kal Penn, LeVar Burton, Jane Singer, Ruby Barnhill, Roger Craig Smith, Courtenay Taylor, and Miles Nibbe round out the cast. 

The Imaginary premieres July 5 on Netflix.
