Feathers McGraw Makes His Comeback in Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl Trailer

Like many others, there were staple TV shows and movies that solidified my childhood, and one of them was none other than the Wallace and Gromit franchise. That’s why I’m very excited to be writing that Feathers McGraw makes a comeback in the upcoming film Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.

The maniacal penguin who has been running rampant in Wallace and Gromit’s inconspicuous lives is officially back. The last time we saw the fake fowl was at the end of The Wrong Trousers, where he was seen rotting in jail (really, the city zoo) after a turn of events led the escaped convict to an eventual, triumphant capture by Gromit. The short claymation film was released in 1993 and it was the last time we thought we had seen the antagonist run a muck in Wallace and Gromit’s lives. Little did we all know, it was just the beginning!

In January 2022, it was announced that Aardman Animation had teamed up with Netflix for their seventh major project and thus the new Wallace & Gromit film was officially set in motion. It’s been a long time coming, but after a long, patient 31 years, we see the return of Feathers McGraw along with our favorite eccentric, cheese-loving inventor Wallace, and Gromit, his beloved canine companion.

While Wallace’s inventions have taken him and Gromit on many escapades, Vengeance Most Fowl sees Gromit’s growing concern as Wallace becomes over-dependent on his inventions. Wallace, who has deemed himself unfit left to his own devices (literally) proves Gromit’s concerns justified when he invents a “smart gnome? that seems to develop an evil mind of its own. I wonder who could be up to that? As events begin to spiral out of control, it’s up to Gromit to put aside his qualms and battle sinister forces, or Wallace may never be able to invent again!

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will air on BBC One in the UK on December 25, 2024. Netflix will be distributing the movie globally in 2025.
