Lady Gaga To Star Opposite Joaquin Phoenix In Joker: Folie à Deux

It’s official! Lady Gaga will be starring opposite Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker musical sequel Joker: Folie à Deux.

The term folie à deux is a shared delusional disorder, which teases what the film is about. Perhaps Phoenix and Gaga are playing the Joker and Harley Quinn in a shared musical delusion. While it’s not confirmed that Gaga is playing Harley, that is the Joker’s main companion in the DC Comics franchise.

The “Cheek to Cheek”-soundtracked social media teaser also confirms the film will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
