Bridgerton Season 2 Trailer Teases Anthony Bridgerton’s Battle Between Love And Duty
What will prevail: love or duty?
We’ve got the official trailer for Bridgerton season 2. Based on the sequel book The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn, we head into a new season of courtship centered around the eldest Bridgerton son Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and his quest to find a bride.
"What happens when duty is in conflict with the heart's true desire," ponders Lady Whistledown, narrated by Julie Andrews, in the trailer. “Why, then there is the potential for a considerable scandal, indeed.” And that’s Anthony’s biggest dilemma. He’s focused more on duty than following his heart, which leads him to zero in on newcomer Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran). He must prove himself to her headstrong older sister Kate (Simone Ashley) for her blessing, but the two find themselves drawn together despite their initial disdain for one another.
The Shonda Rhimes period drama returns to Netflix on March 25. Enjoy the trailer and new photos, above, and new poster, below:
