A Pink Godzilla Appears In Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Trailer

The fifth installment Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire takes us back into the Monsterverse pitting the almighty Kong and fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within the world.

The trailer depicts a further look into the origins of these Titans and the mysteries of Skull Island. A voiceover explains, “For most of human civilization, we believed that life could only exist on the surface of our planet. What else were we wrong about?” After seeing a giant blood print on the side of a mountain, it’s clear it is not Kong’s doing. Breaking out of a glacier, a pink spine-scaled Godzilla emerges to join Kong. It’s a chaotic battle against time to defeat the threat.

Kaylee Hottle, Rebecca Hall, and Brian Tyree Henry return to their roles as Jia, Dr. Illene Andrews, and Bernie Hayes. New cast members include Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, Rachel House, and Fala Chen.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire premieres in theaters on April 12, 2024.
