Sam Smith Announces 10 Year Anniversary Edition Of In The Lonely Hour 

Sam Smith is feeding their longtime fans with the 10-year anniversary edition of debut album In The Lonely Hour. Originally released in 2014, In The Lonely Hour peaked at the number two spot on Billboard 200 and featured Smith’s breakthrough singles “Stay With Me,” “I’m Not The Only One,” and “Lay Me Down.” 

In The Lonely Hour 10 Year Anniversary Edition comes out August 2. 


Victoria Monét Performs Original End Credit Song In Disney’s The Acolyte 

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Victoria Monét graces us with an original song in the new Star Wars series The Acolyte. The single “Power of Two” is co-written by Monét, Oscar and Grammy winning producer D’Mile, and award-winning composer Michael Abels.

“Having my song be a part of the classic Star Wars franchise via The Acolyte is such an honor and I’m thrilled for everyone to hear it when they see how it ties into the overall storyline!” Monét shared in a statement. “D’Mile and I had a great time making the song and hope the world loves it as much as we do.”

Idina Menzel Returns To Broadway In 2025 

Maureen, Elphaba, Elsa… whatever role you know her from, Idina Menzel is ready to come back to her Broadway roots in this upcoming year! 

Menzel returns to star as grieving mother Jesse in the new musical Redwood. It comes from author and director Tina Landau, with music by Kate Diaz. Redwood follows Jesse as she tries to find peace in the woods of Northern California. 

Dates and other cast details have yet to be announced. 


BTS Member Jin Celebrates Finishing Military Service By Hugging 1,000 Fans 

Yup, you heard right! BTS member Jin has successfully completed his mandatory military service in South Korea after 18 months. 

While news outlets were quick to livestream Jin’s discharge to congratulate him, his other band members — RM, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook — performed a saxophone version of their hit-song “Dynamite.” On top of this, Jin’s first public appearance was an hours-long hugging marathon with 1,000 lucky fans at this year’s BTS Festa. 

BTS is expected to return in 2025 when all have completed their service.
