NBC Releases Premiere Week Schedule

September is almost upon us and that means our favorite music shows are coming back! 

NBC announced their schedule for Premiere Week which include The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and the second annual People’s Choice Country Awards. On September 23, the season premiere of The Voice returns featuring first-time coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, alongside returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani

For all the country fans, the People’s Choice Country Awards will air live on September 26 on Peacock featuring some of the greatest performers in country music today and Shania Twain as the host for the evening.

Disney Releases Descendants: The Rise Of Red Soundtrack

Revenge, Love, and Red! 

Yup, Descendants: The Rise Of Red soundtrack is out now with 12 original songs. With an edgier R&B style, the soundtrack includes a mix of solos, duets, and group performances by cast members Kylie Cantrall, Dara Reneé, Malia Baker, Brandy, Ruby Rose Turner, China Anne McClain, Rita Ora, and Paolo Montalban. It also includes a five minute enchanting score suite by composer Torin Borrowdale.

Katy Perry Announces First New Album In Four Years 

The pop girlies are back!

Katy Perry announced her upcoming album 143, along with the release of her new single “Woman’s World.” This is Perry’s first album in four years, but it’s already getting mixed reviews from critics who feel its outdated and stale.

143 drops September 20 on all platforms. 


Neon Partners With Mutant For Longlegs Soundtrack Vinyl 

Audiences are taking in all of the horror of Osgood PerkinsLonglegs. One thing people can’t seem to get enough of is the original score of the film by Zilgi. Lucky for fans, Neon has partnered with Mutant to bring you a special red vinyl of the soundtrack

It’s available for pre-order now before it hits shelves on September 28.


New Music By Saleka For Trap Movie 

The film Trap, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, is hitting theaters this August, but we just got a new single sung by his daughter Saleka Shyamalan as the film’s pop star Lady Raven! 

“Save Me” will give you all the R&B feels with her smooth vocals and catchy melody. Listen on all music streaming platforms.

BTS fans, rejoice, because Jungkook is getting a solo documentary to explore his journey titled I Am Still. Previously, J-Hope and Suga both had cinematic premieres of their solo documentaries and the same will go for Jungkook! 


Mickey & Friends Introduce Reimagined Hits Album By Iconic Alternative Artists 

Disney meets pop-punk? Sign us up! 

Disney announced their latest project A Whole New Sound, an album dedicated to reimagining iconic Disney songs covered by popular rock, alternative, and pop-punk bands. We got the first song with Simple Plan’s cover of The Lion King classic “Can You Feel The Love Tonight, available on all platforms.

“We wanted to pay homage to Sir Elton John’s original version while also adding our own style to it and making it sound fun and energetic,” the band said. “We’re really stoked by how it turned out and we hope everyone will enjoy it.”

But wait, there’s more! Simple Plan will also perform the cover at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 9 for all the Disney lovers out there. The full album and vinyl will be available later this year.
