Tune In: Miley Cyrus Wins Her First Two Grammys

This week’s music news is packed with memorable award winners and exciting announcements. Let’s see what’s in store!

Oh My Grammys!

The Grammys was such a coveted night with big winners! Miley Cyrus swept Best Pop Vocal Performance and Record Of The Year for her breakup anthem “Flowers.” Meanwhile Taylor Swift made history as the first artist to win Album Of The Year four times. Plus she has Swifties shocked as she announced her upcoming new album The Tortured Poets Department (out April 19!) while accepting Best Pop Vocal Album.

Other winners of the night include Victoria Monet for Best New Artist after 15 years in the industry, Karol G winning her first Grammy for Best Musica Urbana, Phoebe Bridgers’ first Grammy win alongside SZA for “Ghost In The Machine,” and more.

Rachel Zegler Drops “The Old Therebefore” Studio Version

The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes proved to be an iconic film with the outstanding cast of Tom Blyth, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andres Rivera, and, of course, our Lucy Gray Baird herself Rachel Zegler

Zegler proposed the idea to sing every song she performs in the movie live on set while filming. As a treat, Zegler took to Instagram to announce the studio version of “The Old Therebefore” — an intense ballad from the scene where Lucy Gray sings to the snakes. Zegler also poked fun at herself for being too shy to ask Lionsgate and had their director Francis Lawrence ask instead.

The song is now available on all platforms!

Kacey Musgraves Announces New Album and Music Video

For my country lovers, if you’re as obsessed with Kacey Musgraves as I am, then you can’t wait for her new album Deeper Well coming March 15. Musgraves also shared the music video of the album’s first song of the same title, above.

Usher Releases Full Album and Tour Dates

On February 11, Usher will perform at the Super Bowl half-time show with special guest Alicia Keys, but fans can get more excited as his full album Coming Home is now available.
