Shailene Woodley transforms into a rockstar!
After years of attempts, the life of the iconic rockstar Janis Joplin is turning into a biopic portrayed and produced by Woodley. The film is also set to receive $2.5 million in funding from the California Film Commission.
“California meant so much to Janis Joplin — from the stoops of San Francisco to the wooden walls of Sunset Sound,” Woodley said. “The state became the stage upon which she explored not just the world of music, but the world of her vibrant humanity.”

The rapper will take the stage at Super Bowl LIX for the halftime show. This marks his second appearance as he was featured at the 2022 show. The NFL posted a promo video of Lamar throwing footballs on the field with the American flag behind him.

She has officially been cast in Julia Jackman’s feminist fantasy 100 Nights Of Hero. Based on the Isabel Greenberg novel, the film tells the tale of a houseguest arriving at a remote castle and follows the dynamic between a neglectful husband, his bride Cherry, and devoted maid Hero as they’re thrown into chaos. The project also includes Maika Monroe, Emma Corrin, and Nicholas Galitzine.
