Beyoncé, Doechii, and Kendrick Lamar Had Historic Wins At 2025 Grammys

The 2025 Grammys were a night to remember with several artists breaking records! 

Beyoncé not only became the most awarded and nominated artist in Grammy history, but also the first Black woman to win Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. To top it off, she also won the coveted Album Of The Year award that only three other Black women — Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston, and Natalie Cole — have won before. 

Rap artists Doechii and Kendrick Lamar also made waves for their respective projects. Doechii won Best Rap Album and became the third woman to win the award, while Lamar sweeped every award for his diss-track “Not Like Us” — breaking the record for the most Grammy wins for a rap song. 


DJ Khalid, Cardi B, and Rihanna Featured On Smurfs Soundtrack 

The Smurfs movie is coming this summer with all the bangers! 

The trailer for Smurfs starts with Rihanna’s single “Don’t Stop The Music” as some of the smurfs are introduced with Rihanna as Smurfette. When Papa Smurf is kidnapped by evil wizards Gargamel and Razamel, the team must band together to save him and the world. The trailer also includes a cover of “Heaven Is A Place On Earth” and a snippet of Desi Trill’s new single “Higher Love” featuring DJ Khalid, Cardi B, Natania, and Subhi.

Sabrina Carpenter Announces Short n’ Sweet Deluxe Album 

Celebrating her two Grammy wins, Sabrina Carpenter is giving fans a special treat! 

Following the award show, Carpenter announced on Instagram that her album Short n’ Sweet will be getting a deluxe version. The album features five more tracks including “15 Minutes,” “Please, Please, Please” featuring Dolly Parton, “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder,” “Busy Woman,” and “Bad Reviews.”

Lisa Releases New Song With Raye and Doja Cat 

Three worlds collided and made a song we’re keeping on replay! 

Lisa has released her new song “Born Again” with talented artists Raye and Doja Cat. The music video shows the girls dressed in sultry black and white clothing while singing to an upbeat pop tune. Between Doja’s rap verse, Raye’s powerhouse vocals, and Lisa’s captivating voice, the song is a hit in our book! 

“Born Again” is out on all platforms. 


The Weeknd Gets Emotional In Hurry Up Tomorrow Trailer 

An album, a tour, and now a movie, The Weeknd is spoiling his fans! 

Based loosely on his album of the same name, Hurry Up Tomorrow follows the artist plagued by his insomnia and his romantic partner Amina (Jenna Ortega) who unravels everything. The trailer depicts the artist getting ready to perform while fighting his own demons of doubt, with his manager Lee (Barry Keoghan) comforting him. It’s a full mental breakdown for everyone involved from smashing mirrors to gasoline poured everywhere. 

The psychological thriller hits theaters May 16. 


Blackpink Teases Comeback World Tour 

Blackpink might be coming to your area soon! 

After all the members have worked on solo projects, the group has finally announced their big comeback this year. The teaser shows multiple arena clips with fans waving around their pink lights, confetti, and a close-up of the girls. 

Though no dates have been announced yet, fans are extremely excited about the news after their last tour in 2023.
