Kathryn Newton Falls In Love With An Undead Cole Sprouse In Lisa Frankenstein Teaser

Love is in the air for Lisa Frankenstein, from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody and director Zelda Williams in her feature film debut, inspired by Mary Shelley’s classic novel Frankenstein.

The trailer introduces us to Lisa, portrayed by Kathryn Newton, an outcast in her town, talking about a boy she likes and accidentally brings him (Cole Sprouse) back to life in a suntanning bed. With her big 80s hair and scrunchies, Lisa will do anything to spark romance between her and her newfound zombie boyfriend — even if it means becoming an ax swinging murderer!

Soundtracked by Kim Petras’ “In The Next Life,” the two set off on a killing rampage and continue to find love along the way as Lisa pines for someone to understand her thoughts about life. Lisa’s style and attitude are in direct juxtaposition with the vibrant town she lives in. All the while, her family is just hoping this is a “goth phase” that will end soon.

Liza Soberano, Carla Gugino, Jenna Davis, Paola Andino, Joe Chrest, Sylvia Grace Crim, Geraldine Singer, Ritchie Montgomery, and more join the wicked world.

Bring some monster love into your life when the horror-comedy twist of Lisa Frankenstein hits theaters on February 9, 2024.
