The Winners Took It All In The Traitors Season 3 Finale
We’ve made it — The Traitors season 3 finale and reunion aired last night and tea was spilled! Spoilers ahead… you’ve been warned.
In a shocking twist, Britney Haynes betrayed Danielle Reyes once again. Danielle was banished at the roundtable and revealed she was a Traitor to the final Faithfuls as Britney fought back tears. No one was more shocked by the betrayal than Danielle. Britney claims she picked Danielle because she thought Dolores Catania would pick her as well, but Dolores claims that never was the case during the reunion. Britney and Danielle aired out their drama during the reunion, but it’s clear that Danielle will never trust Britney in a competition again.
The final contestants were Dylan Efron, Ivar Mountbatten, Gabby Windey, Dolores and Britney. The last mission tasked the team with literally defying gravity as they were suspended from a rope on a helicopter and tried to drop prize money into a ring of fire. With my fear of heights, I’d be showing myself out at the roundtable to avoid that! However, the gang conquered the mission and gained the final earnings for the prize money.
Britney ended up winning the Seer power, which rendered it kind of useless for the Faithfuls, but at least it was a ploy Britney could use at her disposal. Britney called Gabby to a secret meeting where Gabby was forced to reveal her identity. Even though Britney knew Gabby wasn’t a Traitor, I think she tried her best to come off as a fellow Faithful to Gabby. Sadly, Gabby couldn’t be convinced, leading Britney to be the final banishment in the finale.
Dolores, Dylan, Ivar, and Gabby met host Alan Cumming at the fire pit where each had to decide whether to continue the game or end it right then. In an unanimous vote, they all decided to end the game. Luckily, they were all Faithfuls and got to split the prize fund. Honestly, this was a great way to end the game. Dylan, Dolores, Ivar, and Gabby were all fan favorites who deserved the big win!
The reunion special brought back the entire cast to spill the tea on this season. Andy Cohen hosted the event as several grievances were aired out. Carolyn Wiger and Danielle brought back their infamous drama, while Britney and Danielle had their moment, but the funniest part of the entire reunion might be Cohen’s callout to Danielle’s insane performances. Danielle took it like a champ and accepted her trophy!
In a surprising twist, Tom Sandoval was a favorite of the season. So many viewers chimed in saying he was the best part of the show, which, of cours,e is ironic due to his infamous track record on reality television. And I will admit, I did freak out when Cohen joked to Bob the Drag Queen that Zac Efron was coming out to confront him about that previous dig. Well played, Peacock. Well played.
Overall, it seems like this cast enjoyed playing the game as much as we enjoyed watching it. I couldn’t be more thrilled that some of our favorite Faithfuls took home the prize money. This season of The Traitors kept audiences on the edge of their seats from start to finish and it makes us so excited to see what Alan has in store for the next season.
All episodes of The Traitors are streaming on Peacock.
