She’s Slaying, He’s Decaying in Lisa Frankenstein Trailer

Lisa Frankenstein (Kathryn Newton) and her corpse lover (Cole Sprouse) are on a killing rampage in the new Lisa Frankenstein trailer.

Set in 1989, Lisa is an outcast in her vibrant “normal” town. While everyone is worrying about dating real boys from high school, Lisa fascinates herself with a dead mystery man whose grave she visits often. Her neighbors comically ignore her as she receives a visit from the undead corpse. He’s aliveee! She dresses him up and, the next morning, he changes her style too.

As she walks into school in a lacy, black dress with a black hat, she’s met with compliments even from the cheerleaders who say “she could probably do pageants if she had congeniality.” But Lisa doesn’t care about any of that. She comes up with an idea that she wants to hurt every bad person. So the killing spree ensues and their love only grows stronger! It’s weird, silly, comedic, and oddly romantic.

Directed by Zelda Williams, the cast is rounded out by Liza Soberano, Jenna Davis, Henry Eikenberry, Carla Gugino, Paola Andino, Joe Chrest, Geraldine Singer, and Sylvia Grace Crim.
