Ranking The Best and Worst Outfits From Emily in Paris
Emily in Paris stars Lily Collins as our fierce fashionista Emily Cooper who moves to Paris for a new job. The Netflix show finds her navigating her life in the city of love, but soon realizes that balancing her career and relationships will not be easy. Of course, the show would not be complete without her iconic fashion looks. Shout out to the wardrobe department run by Marylin Fitoussi for giving us major fashion inspo. In honor of Season 4 Part 1 out now, here are the best and worst outfits from each season!
Season 1
Best
In the second episode, Emily attends a fragrance party for work. She is seen in a gorgeous Alexandre Vauthier strapless black dress that she pairs with a belt. From her hair to the classic red look, she was giving me Audrey Hepburn energy. It was straight out of an old Hollywood movie and my favorite look of the season.
Worst
This sweater look from episode eight wasn’t my favorite, especially compared to other looks throughout the season. These plain leggings and a patterned sweater didn’t stand out, especially with the yellow rain boots and hat. This outfit seemed a bit casual for Emily’s character and personality.
Season 2
Best
Talk about GLAM! I love this red tulle dress that Emily wore in episode 10 when she attends a runway fashion show with Madeline (Kate Walsh). Her dress is from Giambattista Valli's H&M collaboration. The hair and makeup department did an elegant updo with sparkly brooches that completed the vibe.
Worst
The fashion and costumes were definitely elevated in season 2. We see Emily starting to wear more patterns and vibrant colors. When Emily goes on a summer trip in the beginning of the season, she pairs some orange stripe wedges with the dress. I didn’t have too many complaints, but this dress from episode two didn’t catch my eye.
Season 3
Best
The cliffhanger at the end of the season left Emily in this beautiful gown. Emily attends a wedding with her boyfriend Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) in which she is seen in this Giambattista Valli Pink Floral Couture Gown. The dress is apparently so exclusive that it is not even available to the public!
Worst
In the first episode of the season, Emily wears a pink and red mini dress. The dress is covered by a large feathered jacket that I didn’t think paired well together. The dress was cute, but the feather piece was distracting.
Season 4
Best
The new season offers so many new and fresh looks. One of my favorites is Emily in a matching fitted blue blazer. The set is such a beautiful color on her and I am obsessed with her bangs! Each season Emily grows more and more into herself and this outfit makes her look like the boss babe she is.
Worst
I’m starting to think I just don’t like feathers. This look in season 4 has just too many patterns for me. From the skirt to the tights… and then covered by all the feathers? No thanks. I do like the color palette, but something tells me we will be getting even better looks in the second half of the season to come!
