Frankie Faison, Julia Chan, Ian Harding and Sydney Agudong To Star In Ripple on Hallmark+

Hallmark Media announced that production has started on Ripple, a new original series shooting in Toronto, Canada.

Leading the series’ ensemble is Frankie Faison, Julia ChanIan Harding, and Sydney Agudong. The series follows four individuals — Walter, Kris, Nate, and Aria — who have unknowingly crossed paths many times but never met. As they each face life's challenges, their actions create a ripple effect that ultimately connect them.

The one-hour drama series will premiere on Hallmark+ in 2025. 


MGM+ Orders Robin Hood Drama Series

MGM+ announced a new drama series order for Robin Hood, in which the classic tale of the roguish outlaw hero who stole from the rich and gave to the poor gets reimagined into a modern-day sweeping, romantic adventure. Robin Hood will bring a heightened focus on the romance as Rob, a Saxon forester’s son, and Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord, fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom.

Robin Hood will shoot its ten-episode first season in Serbia, with production beginning in February. The series is slated to premiere on MGM+ later next year.


Mean Girls Returns To Theaters To Celebrate 20th Anniversary

Get in losers, we’re going to the movies!

Mean Girls premiered in April 2004 and has since become a cult classic resulting in a sequel, a Broadway musical and a movie musical.

Now the hit film is returning to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary — so fetch! On none other than October 3 and October 6, the film will be back on the big screen once again.


James Dean Biopic In The Works

A James Dean biopic is in the works with the focus being on an alleged gay romance the late actor had.

Writer and director Guy Guido has acquired the rights to late author William Bast’s 2006 memoir Surviving James Dean and will be basing the film on Bast’s story.
