Boo, Bitch Trailer Shows Off Lana Condor’s Comedy Chops

Something bitchy this way comes.

We’ve got a trailer for Netflix’s new limited series Boo, Bitch, above, starring Lana Condor! The haunting comedy is Booksmart meets Afterlife of the Party as it follows a reserved high school senior finally seizing the opportunity to change her narrative only to wake up the next morning to find out she’s a motherf*%king ghost.

Now Erica Vu, played by Condor, has to decide to move on or live her ghost life as epically as possible. Things take a turn when she runs into the loophole where she “can stick around if [she’s] more famous in death than in life.” The trailer gives us a look at a side of Condor we haven’t seen before as she taps into her comedy chops — and maybe even some Mean Girls vibes.

The eight-episode YA comedy comes from Erin Ehrlich (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, King of the Hill) and Lauren Iungerich (On My Block, Awkward), with Zoe Colletti, Mason Versaw, Aparna Brielle, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, and Jason Genao rounding out the cast.

Boo, Bitch hits Netflix on July 8.
