New Influenced Talk Show Gets Real On The World of Social Media
Your favorite content creators are getting real about all things trends, travel, and, of course, pop culture in Prime Video’s new talk show Influenced!
Hosted by Achieng Agutu, Eyal Booker, Tefi Pessoa, Taryn Delanie Smith, and Cyrus Veyssi, the fab five navigate life on social media and open up about the entertainment industry. In the 10-episode series, the squad breaks down everything from fashion trends and lifestyle to food tips and mental health.
With such a diverse cast who specializes in an array of things, the show was so refreshing and easy to get into. I loved the energy from Achieng Agutu, who is all about confidence, to Eyal Booker, who is so open-minded and down to learn something new. Cyrus Veyssi brings all the vibes, and Tefi Pessoa and Taryn Delanie Smith are the most iconic pair of best friends. This whole group of influencers really compliment each other and you can tell they are very close!
As an avid social media user, I was the perfect target audience for a show like this. I feel like I learned a lot about the industry and how to better myself. The show also features guest stars like Allegra Edwards, Christina Milian, and Brooke Butler. Each person teaches the rest of the crew something from a new perspective, which I really appreciated. I also liked the way the show incorporated the viewers throughout their segments. In one episode, they bring a fan out to give her a makeover and it made her feel so confident! The squad is so warm and welcoming that it felt like I was in the room hanging out with them.
The idea of an influencer talk show really intrigued me and felt like a modern way to get a younger generation to watch. I feel like not a lot of young people tune into talk shows anymore, but the format of the series was refreshing. When I realized the show was executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, I knew it was in good hands!
With such a diverse group of people showing their unique perspectives, they managed to make each and every guest feel safe and welcome. If you love all things pop culture and social media, Influenced is the show for you. There are lots of laughs and heartwarming moments as these creators break down the industry for us.
Influenced is available to watch on now on Prime Video.
