Meeting The Parents Is A Necessary Evil In The Parenting

Meeting the parents can be an absolute nightmare.

Max has announced their new original film The Parenting. The horror-comedy finds a young gay couple planning a weekend getaway to finally introduce their parents. The traditional Sharon and Frank butt heads with the laid back Liddy and Cliff, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to their problems. It turns out their weekend rental is being haunted by a 400-year-old poltergeist — who even possesses one of the parents! Now the couple needs to bring the peace between their families while stopping this evil entity.

The film stars Nik Dodani, Brandon Flynn, Brian Cox, Edie Falco, Lisa Kudrow, Dean Norris, Parker Posey, and Vivian Bang.

The Parenting debuts March 13 on Max.
