Keri Russell Faces The Truth In The Diplomat Season 2 Trailer

tv

After season one’s explosion cliffhanger, The Diplomat season two picks up in the aftermath where Kate Wyler’s (Keri Russell) husband Hal (Rufus Sewell) has been injured.

The trailer shows a glimpse of the bombing in central London and Kate visiting Hal at the hospital. While others believe Russia is responsible for both the bombing and the attack on the British warship, Kate theorizes that the British government is responsible, including the prime minister (Rory Kinnear). More so, she confides in CIA’s U.K. station chief (Ali Ahn) about her theory as the two scribble across a board on finding out who is at fault.

Kate also faces a threatening visit from Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) in the midst of grappling with her shifty marriage, conspiracy, treason, a romance with foreign secretary Austin Dennison (David Gyasi), and, overall, the consequences of her actions.

The Diplomat season two premieres October 31 on Netflix.
