Karma Turns To Murder In I Know What You Did Last Summer Trailer
The past will always catch up to you in I Know What You Did Last Summer.
The trailer shows a couple trying to relax for the night before the guy is attacked by a hook through his chest. As they try to figure out why this happened, it’s revealed that it might be karma for them causing a deadly car accident last year and the pact they made to cover up their involvement.
During a town meeting, we get to see the return of Freddie Prinze Jr. as his character Ray Bronson tells everyone that this kind of violence has happened before. One by one, the friends are targeted with threatening cards, writings on walls, hidden corners, and more. Desperate for help, they enlist the help of Prinze Jr.’s Ray and Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Julie James — both of whom survived the Southport Massacre in 1997.
The new film comes from brilliant writer and director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, best known for Sweet/Vicious, Someone Great, Unpregnant, and Do Revenge. Basically, if she worked on it, we’re in! Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung, and Nicholas Alexander Chavez round out the cast.
I Know What You Did Last Summer premieres July 18 in theaters.
