Her story of overcoming severe illness would be so inspiring… if it were true.

In the trailer for Netflix’s Apple Cider Vinegar, we follow the true-ish story of Belle Gibson (Kaitlyn Dever) who forms a global online community as she uses health and wellness to try to cure brain cancer. The only problem is she’s building her empire off of a lie. Alongside Dever are Tilda Cobham-Hervey who plays a cancer patient brought into Gibson’s community, Alycia Debnam-Carey as rival wellness influencer Milla Blake, and Aisha Dee as Milla’s close friend.

The six episode limited series is loosely based on the book The Woman Who Fooled The World by journalists Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano who uncovered Gibson’s real life trickery.

Apple Cider Vinegar premieres February 6 on Netflix.
